Privacy

This text is a draft.

What follows describes what the software does technically. It is not legal advice and does not replace a privacy policy drafted for your own company by a qualified adviser.

Who controls the data

Each practice is the controller of its own client records. SeansGO processes that data on the practice's instructions and does not use it for any purpose of its own.

What is stored

Client identity and contact details, appointments, session notes, packages and payments, plus any files the practice uploads. Health information is a special category of personal data and is treated as such: it is never exposed outside the practice that entered it.

Separation between practices

Every record belongs to exactly one practice and every query is filtered by it. No practice can read another's data.

Files and access

Uploaded documents are not served from a public folder. They are reachable only through an authenticated route, to staff of the practice that owns them.

Retention and erasure

The practice sets its own retention period and can record consent, withdraw it, and erase a client's record. Erasure requests are logged with who acted on them and when.

Export

Data can be exported at any time and a full backup taken. Leaving does not mean leaving your records behind.

Where data is stored

Application data is held in Türkiye. Sending credentials for SMS and e-mail providers live only in server configuration and never appear in a database backup.
